The short answer
A One Piece card's rarity is printed in letters on the card, with its code: C (common), UC (uncommon), R (rare), SR (super rare), SEC (secret rare), L (Leader) and P (promo), plus SPs and Treasure Rares. Almost every card also exists as a parallel (different artwork), and the most sought-after are manga rares, parallels whose artwork is a manga page.
Rarity codes
| Code | Rarity | What it is |
|---|---|---|
| C | Common | The most common cards. |
| UC | Uncommon | A little less common. |
| R | Rare | Less common. |
| SR | Super Rare | A set's headline cards, with a shiny finish. |
| SEC | Secret Rare | The highest of a set's standard rarities. |
| L | Leader | The card that leads your deck, with its life: one per deck. |
| P | Promo | Given out outside boosters: tournaments, events, products. |
| SP | SP | Cards from older sets, reprinted in a newer booster with special artwork and finish. |
| TR | Treasure Rare | A very rare rarity in recent sets. |
Parallels and manga
- Parallel
- An alternative version of a card, with the same code, different artwork and often a different finish. In gotem., each rarity has its parallel: "Parallel Super Rare", "Parallel Leader"…
- Manga
- The name collectors give to certain parallels whose artwork is a black-and-white manga page. It's not an official rarity, but they're among the most sought-after cards in the game.
- Reprints
- Some cards come back in other sets or products: gotem. keeps them separate from regular and parallel cards.

Rarities are the same in every language, but not the prices, nor always the numbering of parallels: gotem. has one catalogue per language, each with its own prices. The language switch at the top of the site changes this page's list.

Secret Rare: the highest of a set's standard rarities, above SR.
What is a parallel card?
An alternative version of a card, with the same code, different artwork and often a different finish. It's much rarer than the regular version.

What does SP mean?
A card from an older set reprinted in a newer booster, with special artwork and finish.
